  • Directly supervise Resident Assistants in all areas of their role, with an emphasis on community development. 

  • Interview, hire, and indirectly supervise work study staff responsible for staffing the residence hall mailroom.

  • Founded and launched a disability awareness training program, “Beyond the Blind Side,” for the SUNY Cortland campus. 

  • Advocated respect and acceptance to disability as an identity rather than a deficit. 

  • Conducted extensive research on disability history, person-first language, disability culture, advocacy initiatives, and other related topics.

  • Designed a community resource guide for transitioning high school students and their families, regarding postsecondary education and/or employment options.
